El Paso Center for Children is a community-based, private, nonprofit corporation. It is a provider of treatment and support services for the youth with special needs and their families. The center is a member agency of the United Way of El Paso County. Its therapeutic homes program offers therapeutic foster care for children and adolescents with moderate and severe emotional and behavioral disturbances. The center operates runaway shelter and transitional living programs to protect the safety of runaway and homeless youth who are at the risk of abuse, delinquency and family separation. It provides transitional housing programs, independent living skills training and support services for the runaway youth. In addition, El Paso Center for Children runs a program to help married couples sustain healthy marriages. It is located in El Paso, Texas.
