Helen Ball Elementary School, located in El Paso, Texas, is part of Socorro Independent School District and is named after a former elementary school teacher who served the district for many years. Founded in 1995, it serves a diverse population of more than 750 children in prekindergarten through grade five. It prepares students through a flexible education system, which begins their development into well-rounded adults. Students apply problem-solving strategies learned through written, oral, technological and experiential applications in the classroom. The subjects cover various curricular areas, including English, mathematics, social science, science, health and physical education, music and art.
