It was great when it was open!

The food harkened back to the early 20th century recipes of Cantonese Chinese foods that emigrated to the U.S. from Canada and from China itself. The egg foo young dishes were incredibly authentic, together with a tasty gravy that held even a persnickety eater like myself in awe. All of the other dishes, chicken wings, chop suey, chow mein, lo mein, and the elaborate Dragon meets Phoenix steamy dish held up under lots of scrutiny.

The restaurant itself had quite an El Paso history, dating to the 1960s when the Chinese Blossom was originally at the corner of Trowbridge and Montana, then moved to its present location, and the kids then took it over and turned it into Lo's Blossom.

Sadly, 2010 opens with the restaurant forever closed, two owners have since taken the location, but have not really done much with it.
