Provided by YP.comGreat atmosphere! Staff is very friendly and helpful. Love that they allow walk ins at any time Dr. Novoa offer s free pregnancy test to teens and women and ultrasound at no cost to patient. The staff also helps patients to apply for medicaid and spends time with any question. I would reccomend any women or teen to come in whether its for questions on pregnancy, or any gynecology issues.

Provided by YP.comVery questionable staff training and physician credentials. I felt very uncomfortable with the majority of the staff being run by the nurse/nurse practicioners level. The patient rarely see the physician on each visit. Dr. Novoa's apparent major interest is in cosmetic surgery rather than his primary training of Gyn. I will not return to his care nor recommend him to any of my associates. Thank you
Dear SallyMS. This is Dr. Novoa. I reviewed your response and feel that your commentary is simply wrong. My staff has received extensive training as well as being Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certified even at the Medical Assistant level. As far as my training, I specialize in both OB/GYN and Cosmetic Surgery. I have delivered over 5000 babies since 1999. I deliver 20-40 babies per month and have a primary C/S rate 5x LOWER than the national average. My specialty regarding Obstetrics is the high-risk delivery and am only one of a few doctors in El Paso consistently offering the Vaginal Birth After Cesarean Section (VBAC) with a average failure rate of 10%, which means that 9 out of 10 women attempting this procedure are able to determine vaginally which is 3x higher than the national average. As far as continuous training, I average over 400 CME (Continuous Medical Education) hours per year; in comparison, the State of Texas requires that we record on 25 per year. I believe that our record stands for itself which is specifically documented on our website, www.drnovoa.com, as our monthly delivery STATS for everyone to see. I hope this shines a truthful light on exactly what my staff and my practice are able to offer to the women of our community.
