Provided by SuperpagesI recently rented a back house from Texas Realty. I was having trouble getting an apartment / home for me and my son. They were more than helpful with my situation being that I don't have the greatest credit due to medical bills. They really understand and help us locals here, thanks!

Provided by SuperpagesGreat office staff and customer service!!! There was a change in office staff in the past year, and boy have we seen the change for the better!!! Repairs are timely and done right and any questions we have are always answered! We are military and they are military friendly. They have nice homes and fair prices! I would def recommend Texas Realty!

Provided by SuperpagesTexas Realty does not fix issues with the house they are legally required to. Never sent me my deposit or list of accounting after 30 days, sent letter of demand and they send me a bill for 100+ dollars, many were illegal charges that do not fall under damages as described by Texas property code. Took over a month to get red tag removed from water heater. Swamp cooler broke and they refused to fix it saying "it's humid, so it won't work right". Your best bet is to not deal with this company, they're a charity case and have no qualms with breaking the law to make a buck. Also to the previous poster, texas law actually specifically states that if deposit is not returned in 30 days, they lose the right to claim damages ... furthermore if they keep deposit in bad faith they are liable for 3x the deposit +100 dollars + lawyer fees. I live out of state now and called several lawyers, none returned my calls. If I lived there I would sue them myself.

Provided by SuperpagesZero Stars. I am military and they did not take care of issues with the house we lived in; gas leaks, no hot water for days, swamp cooler not working off and on constantly. When we PCS'd to a new location, it was very difficult to get our deposit back. By Texas Law the landlord is required to pay one months rent plus $500 if they are more than 30 days late in returning the deposit to the tenant. They were almost two months late, and kept giving us the run around. When they did finally send it, it was not the right amount, they did send us the right amount after we notified them. Because we are in another state we could not go to the office personally to take care of this. Texas Realty still owes us the penalty the state requires by Law and they are not doing it. I feel we were not taken care of as tenants and that our contract between tenant and Texas Realty only applied to us and not to them. Would never use them again!!!!!!!!!!!!
