The MonteVista at Coronado is a retirement community that offers a range of support services for senior citizens. The community provides a variety of health, hospice and nursing care services. It has been in operation for more than 20 years and operates independent living programs. The community spreads across s an area of over 15 acres and features nearly 120 apartments. The MonteVista at Coronado administers several exercise and wellness programs. It provides assistance with daily living activities, as well as exercise and wellness programs services. The MonteVista at Coronado is owned by Five Star Quality Care, which operates various nursing facilities, rehabilitation hospitals, institutional pharmacies and rehabilitation clinics.

My husband was in the Rehab to...

My husband was in the Rehab to Home program for about 5 weeks. Nursing staff was great, OT was great. Some attitude & confidentiality issues with PT. The weakest link in the service delivery was the social services and discharge planning. The social worker was not well informed about New Mexico services and was not helpful in providing the information needed to make good informed choices about support services at home in a proactive manner. He was rude at times, and obviously had not read my husband's chart in terms of diagnosis and prognosis. The menu for the facility looked great, but my husband didn't find the food appetizing. Setting is pretty, no odors and most of the staff were delightful to work with.
