This is one of the worst businesses on the web, even if you like the service at Stamps.com wait till you try to cancel their service they will charge you hidden cancellation fees and tell you all kind of lies. You may get their customer support on the phone to help you fairly easily until you decided to cancel your account with them , then no one seems to answer the phone anymore or they put you on hold till you give up and go away. Check out the popular consumer complaint reports on Stamps.com you will see they have a huge list of nightmare stories of overcharging people's accounts and various other dark stories. Their free trial is also a trap it is not really free they end up charging you if you choose not to use their service.

Bad customer service. Very long lines. Rude people working there not willing to help people with questions. Next time I will travel to downtown to get the real customer service and my needs addressed and taken care of.

I make crafts and sell them online, so I deal a lot in shipping and postage. I've really found Stamps.com's system to be good for my business, especially because I ship internationally. Basically, you sign up with the company and they send you a digital meter, some free postage and a supplies kit. You install the software onto your computer, and print postage from your printer. Stamps.com keeps track of how much postage you use through your online account.I found that the online account helped me track my expenses better, and the postage looks professional and prints quickly. I don't have to spend more money on ink for the printer as I did with the Pitney Bowes meter that I had before. I really recommend this product to anyone who does a lot of mailing, particularly small businesses. Stamps.com can do postage for letters and certified mail, too, which helps me out when I'm not shipping packages.

I love it! Inexpensive and perfect for small to medium size projects.

This software works great for our law office. It allows us to take addresses from the email and print it out on the USPS Certified Mail form. That function saves us a ton of time. Plus, you get discounts for Priority and Express Mail.

Love it! No more waiting in line and you even get a discount. Very easy to use software and the postage prints fast.

I, like the Dec 7, 2007 commenter, could not obtain my stamps, which were given as a Christmas Gift, without entering my credit card information - there is NO explanation ANYWHERE on the box or in the enclosed materials that states that the "gift" card cannot be processed without a valid credit card - and there is NO TELEPHONE number provided ANYWHERE! - only "forms" to fill in and waiting...how can the US Postal Service allow this vendor to do this?

I recently purchased one of their gift box things for ordering stamps with pictures on them. When I attempted to order I found out I need to have a credit card, which I don't. In addition, I ,like many other people, wouldn't feel comfortable giving out my credit card information on-line even if I did have one. There was NO information on the packaging to imply or say a credit card is needed. and, even with the "gift code" provided a credit card is still required! I already paid for this when I bought it!!! if there is a code which is equal to the amount you'd spend on the stamps WHY should they need the card??If a credit card or other such things are needed...LIST THEM ON THE PACKAGE FOR YOUR PRODUCT!!! I will be demanding my money back!!I would have given NO stars but this system won't let me.

great service, only downfall is they do seem to be offline at times and cant print stamps at that time. otherwise great way to click and ship.
