DO NOT PURCHASE YOUR VEHICLE FROM ABBOTT FAMILY AUTO. I recently purchased a Dodge truck from Abbott Family Auto in Eldon. Within the first few weeks of ownership my check engine light came on and the truck would not start. After spending $2,500 my truck is fixed. I fully understand there is a risk when purchasing a used vehicle "as is" but I assumed that a "car dealership" would inspect their vehicles thoroughly prior to re-sale. Through my experience, I can only conclude that the Abbott Family Auto dealership does not have the aptitude or resources to inspect their vehicles properly. I highly recommend anyone thinking about purchasing a vehicle from Abbott Family Auto to reconsider. If you do decide to purchase a vehicle please have the vehicle looked at by a reputable mechanic.
