a few years ago, After taking my daughter's and my dress to another seamstress, my MOB dress got RUINED (I had pieces in a baggy and the top was lop-sided). after 2 hours of trying and tons of pin holes in my daughters gown, they were not able to do a correct bustle. I put a stop to them trying and found this place online. a week before the wedding we brought it here and she did my daughters right away, with hardly any thinking about it. she had to reconstruct my dress. we picked them up the day before the wedding, very nervous about how close it was, and they both were amazing!! you could not even tell my dress was ruined. my son is getting married this year and his bride, bridesmaids and moms will definitely be using her again!!!

I was a mother of the bride in November 2012. I had a beautiful designer gown which I foolishly had someone else alter. The dress was so poorly done it was ruined. I found Etelka (online) and decided to go after reading her reviews. She immediately saw the issues with the dress. Etelka patiently explained to me what she needed to do to correct and fix my dress. She is amazing!! She posses design and sewing skills of a "True Master Seamstress". My dress fit beautifully and perfectly with no hint of what had happened. I had tears of joy!! I more than thrilled with Etelka's expertise and would highly recommend her. I needed a specific and unusual bridesmaid dress designed in less than two week's time, and wanted high quality work (thus very skeptical about someone I "just found online"). Etelka is amazing. I am extremely impressed with the detailed quality of her sewing, her beautiful patternless designing skills, custom fitting, reasonable fee, and warm service. Seamstresses of this caliber and years' experience are a rare find today. Dear Etelka,I wanted to let you know how happy my daughter and I are about Kat's wedding dress. When we came Saturday and my daughter tried the dress on, we were very happy with your excellent work and how well the dress fit. It is exactly what my daughter wanted. We are so excited to see the finished dress. Today we had a family graduation party for 2 of my other daughters who graduated, 1 from college and 1 from nursing school. I came to Etelka with a Bridesmaid dress with no appt. and she kindly took me in and made me feel so comfortable. She made the dress look wonderful and in great time! 1/24/08I found the perfect wedding gown on clearance, but I'm a size 4 and the gown was a size 12. Etelka altered all fifteen layers of my gown to fit me as a perfect size 4! Not only did she do a beautiful job, she also created beautiful, sequined straps to help hold the weight of my dress through the night if it got too heavy. 1/25/08"I was in town for my sister's wedding, and was in need of alterations for my bridesmaid's gown that I had just picked up. The wedding was in four days, and I needed to be able to pick up the gown before then. Fortunately, I was referred to Etelka Bridal ALterations by a friend who lived in the area, and in two days, I had my gown altered and returned to me for less than I would have paid at the bridal shop where I purchased it. The thing that impressed me the most was when I picked up my gown, I had mentioned that I wished it had a jacket or a bolero of some sort to cover my shoulders, as it was a late winter wedding. When I picked up my gown, Etelka had made a bolero out of the scarf that I was not going to use so that I would be warmer! 08/19/08"From the moment I met Etelka I knew that this was a special woman. She has taken so much time to make sure that everything about my dress is perfect for the big day! I'm a shorter bride so when it came to hemming the underskirt of my dress she made sure to reattach the delicate lace trim to the stiff lace layers. No one will ever see it and I wouldn't have noticed it was gone but she took the time to make sure the dress was fresh from the boutique perfect for me!. She is also going over the bodice of my dress and checking every tiny bead to make sure that they are well attached and there are no loose threads. She has always taken her time and has really been a pleasure to meet with over the last months of alterations and final fittings! She has such a sweet temperament and is a joy to work with." 7/31/09"Etelka, I am sorry it has taken me so long to contact you. I want to thank you for the amazing alterations you did on my wedding dress, my bridesmaids dresses, and my mother's dress. I especially loved the satin buttons you added down the back of my dress, it gave it just the perfect touch!
