Let me start out by saying that in my 42 years on this earth, I have never been discriminated against until today at this store. I have recently retired from the military and moved to the beautiful town of Elgin. We'll today my wife and I went out to go pick up something to drink. We didn't know what we wanted to drink so we planned to look around then decide from there. To cut a long story short. We were told that our business wasn't wanted and to get out. I didn't understand what was going on or why we were being treated like thieves. Then my wife told me that it's because I'm black. ..wow I was very hurt. I know racist people are still out there but this was my first in counter and it caught me off guard. I will never visit that store again. I took the drive to Fort Sill, not only was the drink $7.00 cheaper it was tax free. If you are against racism then take a stand and don't spend your money anywhere there's a known resist worker or owner. Not all of Elgin is bad. This store was my first and only bad experience here.
