Now In: About Bev-Tech Bev-Tech began in 1985 representing Island Oasis and Taylor Freezer. Island Oasis is a pioneer in the frozen drink industry offering top quality mixes along with ease of use and state of the art equipment. Taylor Freezer has set the pace in the foodservice industry since 1926 with custom built ice cream equipment, simple operational features and a strong world-wide service support system. In anticipation of a growing trend, our equipment line was expanded in 1993 with the introduction of espresso machines. We are currently a Master Distributor for Nuova Simonelli Espresso Machines. Nuova Simonelli, founded by engineer Orlando Simonelli, has produced professional espresso machines since 1936. Our employees and our customers are our most valuable assets. With their support we were able to grow our business, and when our need for more space became apparent, in 2000 we moved to our current location: a brand new 12, 000 square foot facility in Eliot, Maine. Here we have spacious offices, a showroom, a huge warehouse with a loading dock, and a state of the art service area. Once again sensing a trend, 2004 saw the addition of gelato equipment and product. We sell Taylor and Staff gelato equipment, ISA display cabinets and Pre Gel gelato product. To complement our equipment lines, we sell Torani Italian Syrups, Oregon Chai, Lavazza Espresso & Coffee, Ghirardelli Sauces and Powders, Guayaki Yerba Mate and a variety of other products and smallwares.
