Founded in 1948, Roanoke Bible College is a private, coeducational institution that provides associate s, baccalaureate and certificate degree programs in bible-based Christian education. Its academic programs include counseling, elementary education, applied science, evangelism, and preaching and youth ministries. The college also offers classes in music, biblical studies, theology, and developmental and educational psychology, as well as foreign language. Roanoke Bible College participates in a variety of sports activities, including basketball, softball, volleyball and tennis. It organizes several fundraising events, picnics, dramas and international dinners. The college is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Roanoke Bible College is located in Elizabeth City, N.C.
