Our unit was not working. Gave them a call, they asked me for 2 days that worked for me. That's right, the worked around my schedule. Came when they said they would and it is now back up and running.

The winter of 2013-2014 has been the coldest that I can remember. Our oil burning furnace worked well but the oil cost us around $1600 a month due to the increasing high cost of oil. My wife and I began to consider an alternative heating system. The Doug Williams Rick Gilbert Company was highly recommended to us. We contacted them and they immediately sent a salesman and several technicians to inspect our system and give us their opinion and provide us with an estimate. We also contacted another local company for an estimate. We were impressed with the thoroughness of Doug Williams Rick Gilbert as they checked everything. We were given a brochure and in a few days they sent us 3 estimates with detailed information and warranties. The estimates give us choices on the best way to fill our needs and fit into our budget. We greatly appreciated the idea of having choices. We chose the option of replacing the entire heating unit and also replacing the stand alone air conditioning unit with a complete package that provide both heating and air conditioning at a very reasonable price. It was a Friday. We asked how soon they could install the system. We were told they could do the work the following Monday. We also asked how many days it would take so that we could make plans to be away if necessary. We were told that all of the work would be done in one day. That was wonderful news! Monday came and the crew arrived early. Without delay they removed all of the old equipment and began installing the new. My wife and I were both impressed with their efficiency and professionalism. I asked one of the technicians how long that he had been doing this kind of work and he told me 28 years. I was pleased with that kind of experience. I was also happy with the rest of the crew’s performance as everyone was always doing some part of the work. There was no time wasted. Another thing that impressed me was their positive attitude. At the end of the day one of the technicians double checked everything to make sure everything was working properly including the new digital thermostat. They left no mess or anything for us to clean up. I believe that their timeliness, their work ethics, their knowledge of this trade, their attitude and their fair pricing has made their company successful. My wife and I are glad to recommend their services.

Doug Williams and Company installed a NUTONE HVAC system and all was good until that winter when it got down to around 10 degrees outside and I couldn't get the heat past 50. It was a weekend and they could not be contacted. Had to call someone else; they forgot to connect the heat strips = $180.00. Summer: unit kept freezing up and house was like a furnance (2 service calls) one Doug williams and someone else =$400.00. Winter: now makes and ungodly buzzing noise and the lights go dim $$$ who knows. A cold start was put on the capacitor and it worked for about a month (for $180) and now it looks like its about to break down again.
