I am happy to provide documentation to back up this review, it is the truth, no matter what they want to claim. We have a contract signed by the owner of Colorado Deck and Patio stating he would pull permits of the work he did, he did not. It turns out he is not licensed in the city so he couldn't pull those permits. He is using photos of our home in his marketing on various sites and the words "inspections passed", which is an outright lie, because there were no inspections, since there were no permits. We are in the process of pulling the permits after the fact, we don't know if the concrete will pass inspection, we've been told to prepare to have to dig becuase they need to inspect the cassions. We do know the framing will not pass inspection because the engineer said that the roof would require that support beams be placed in the wall to support the weight, Stephen (the owner of Colorado Deck and Patio) chose not to install the beams and now the fascia of the home is cracking, in a little over a month. So we are going to need to open the walls inside the home and have those support beams installed to pass inspection. We also know that the front half of our ranch home would need to be re-roofed to be up to code, this wasn't done. He installed no ice and water barrier, he used inadequate valleys and cut every possible corner. In short, we need to have the roof redone, estimates are in the $5000 range. We don't know the full extent of the damages that Colorado Deck and Patio, LLC, have done to our home, but a picture is emerging and it's not good. We sent them an email asking for the engineers drawings/stamp to help us in the permit process and they went silent. I guess there isn't much to say at this point, they know they aren't licensed, they know they didn't pull permits. At the outset they told us integrity and honesty mattered to them, but this is not honest, this is not how someone with integrity behaves. They bad mouthed the people who had given them poor reviews. They said that their pricing was higher than other contractors because you pay more to get the job done right the first time. Well here we are, getting the job done again. We have proof of lies, we now know that they pay for reviews. We have the email where they told us they would pay us for positive reviews. All we want at this point is to hopefully help someone else from making the same mistake we made in believing Eric and Stephen. Integrity and honesty are marketing terms to them. If they had any integrity they wouldn't be lying about our home passing inspection.
