I was born and raised in the Dominican Republic. From an early age I realized that I wanted to become a doctor so I could help and support families in need. I went to medical school in the Dominican Republic and moved to New York City shortly after graduating. I am fluent in both English and Spanish. I decided to go into medicine and pediatrics because I have been inspired by the resilience of children, their imagination, their approach to life, and ability to overcome obstacles. I enjoy watching their development from birth to young adulthood and advocating for their wellbeing. A good day at work means being able to interact with children, learning about their goals and dreams while guiding their parents throughout their childâ??s journey.
