When checking out at American Eagle today, one of the associates was very rude when she saw we only had one item at checkout. She insisted we buy something else. We told her that we couldn't find anything else we wanted. I can understand that her job is to sell more products, but she just continued to harass us about it. She told us that we were "dumb" repeatedly for not buying more than one thing when there was a sale going on. The item we bought was a flannel shirt and she asked what my boyfriend expected to wear underneath it. He responded that he didn't usually wear undershirts. She then had the nerve to make fun of him for not wearing undershirts. There are other ways to sell products without judging, making fun of, and harassing your customers. She was completely inappropriate and made both of us uncomfortable. American Eagle and Towne Mall should be embarrassed for hiring someone like her. I don't know what her name was but I know that our recepit says that her associate number is 70 and her cashier number is AG07. The store number is 00529. I feel sorry for anyone who has to deal with this woman in the future.
