Established in 1972, Colors for Plastics is one of the leading manufacturers of a full line of thermoplastic colorants. It is an ISO 9001:2000-certified company that supplies a wide range of products, such as dry and liquid colors, color concentrates, mold and precolor compounds and preblend additives. The company utilizes a variety of equipment, such as extruders, injection molding machines, material mixers, and color evaluation and material testing equipment. It conducts production of concentrate, dry and liquid colors and preblend colorants in its more than 45,000-square-foot facility located in Elk Grove Village, Ill. The company also operates another 40,000-square-foot facility in Spartanburg, S.C.
