Please do NOT purchase anything from Mid-America Tile! Misrepresentation:The tile I received was not at all as advertised. (Brand Name, 'Jeffery Court')Do not stand by their claims, "At Mid-America Tile, your complete satisfaction is our goal...." :That claim of complete satisfaction is a joke! I could even get minor satisfaction here. I made them aware of the problem immediately. I sent pictures and my contact there (Donna) never followed-up with me. Instead, she went through my architect and took two weeks to tell him he needed to send in better pictures. The pictures looked bad because the tile is really that bad! (I wish I could post this pictures on Yelp)After three and a half weeks, they said we could order more of the same tile with a 10% discount! This was insulting! Of course, they were not offering to return or partially return the used or unused tile. Just that I could order more with a 10% discount. Why on earth on would I purchase more of the same? Of course we went back and forth for another couple of weeks and they informed us they would still not take anything back but would give us 50% another order from Jeffery Court.So, not only did they take forever to offer a completely unacceptable solution, but it completely delayed my renovation. In addition to doing this powder room, I completed the kitchen. Due to the fact that Mid-America kept stringing us along, my kitchen project was delayed by over a month because the subcontractors had to keep getting rescheduled (ie: plumber, radiator guy, trim guy, etc). Also, I also ended up having to pay extra for multiple trips from these guys and I ended up going without heat for a while as a result of the tile delay.So what ended up happening? I paid for ugly marble tile that ended up in a dumpster. Purchased new marble tile and a glass kitchen backsplash from a different tile distributor in the city. I wish I would have gone to Mosaico first! They were helpful, nice and have great products! (Go figure!)Save your money and time! Go someplace else besides Mid-America. Not only do they misrepresent their products, but they are slow to a response and then offer you nothing to soften the situation. In fact, in my case they ended up costing me even more expense then the unused tile I had to pay for....Please just don't go here, please.
