I selected this location to bake a fondant cake for my cousin's birthday party set in November 26th, 2017. I met with the bakery manager, Becky to arrange the cake design and flavoring. I was informed that the cake would be done by following the deposit and payment policies before the event date (which were followed accordingly). I selected to have this cake delivered from the time frame of 6:30pm-7pm to the venue location. This time frame was selected as the event was going to start at 6pm, and the venue would not allow the party setup until 5pm. Alas, this bakery failed to inform me of the early delivery at 1:30pm of the event date and had this cake delivered to an employee of the venue that was not present during the event. The cake was left inside a refrigerator without my knowledge. This abrupt change of the bakery and negligence to inform was very upsetting. I spoke with the owner and he informed me that he would not give a refund. I have pictures of the paperwork showing the time frame selected. The failure to follow the selected time frame policy and negligence of communication (to the customer) made us held the party without the cake. The birthday girl was very upset and saddened because of the cake not being there. The guests were upset because there was no cake cut, and I felt deeply embarrassed. TIP? Take your business somewhere else!
