The company s catalog of products includes unique chiral building blocks, heterocyclic compounds, chiral ligands and other active pharmaceutical ingredients. These custom organic chemicals are available in gram to kilogram scales. SynChem also provides contract research in support of its clients drug discovery efforts. Founded in 1997, SynChem has won a number of awards in its history, including an Eli Lilly & Company Supplier Award in 2002 and three Small Business Innovation Research Awards from National Institutes of Health. Headquartered in Des Plaines, Ill., the company established its Chinese office in Shanghai, China in 2000.
