The Sherburne County Sheriff's Office provides public safety services to more than 85,000 residents in Sherburne County, Minn. It has a staff of more than 250 full-time employees. The office has administration, corrections, communications, crime prevention and records divisions. The Sherburne County Sheriff's Office also has a drug task force, dive rescue team, and mounted horse, boat and water patrol divisions. Its emergency response unit is responsible for executing dangerous arrests and handling high-risk barricaded suspects and hostage situations.
