Elk River High School operates under the guidelines set by the Elk River Area School District 728. The school offers education to more than 1,800 students in grades nine through 12. Its curriculum includes mathematics, family and consumer sciences, English, foreign language, health education, business studies, industrial arts, social studies, science and technology, fine arts, music and physical education. The school offers various sports programs, including cheerleading, cross country, football, soccer, swimming, tennis, volleyball, basketball, gymnastics, hockey, wrestling, baseball, golf and softball. It has a fully equipped library that offers books on various topics, magazines, encyclopedias, newspapers and other reference materials. Located in Elk River, Minn., the school provides guidance and counseling services to its students.
