In 2016, we quietly celebrated our 50th year offering amazing ice cream and other tasty treats in Elkhart, Indiana. Serving our community from two locations, we are proud and delighted to provide the absolute highest quality home made ice cream confections. We use an exclusive ALL NATURAL dairy mix when making our cool, delicious treats. Our unique recipe ensures the rich, creamy texture that makes our ice cream stand out. Then, we add all of the extra "fun" ingredients like nuts, candies and other flavors to create our one-of-a-kind desert offerings. We make homemade ice cream in-store using our own original recipes. Some of your favorites include Superman, Blue Moon, Cookie Monster, Peanut Butter & Jelly and Lemon Custard. pulled in with my toddler at 10:05. The outside lights were still on (and still on when I left the lot). I pulled into line as the car in front of me pulled up to the speaker, ordered, and pulled to the window. As I moved to the speaker I looked over the menu, asked my toddler what she wanted, and a young girl comes to the window, looks at me, and over the speaker says "Sorry we close at 10" then walks away. I was the last car in line. If you close at 10… ??? Shouldn't you A. Turn off your outside sign that lights up nice and bright.. B. Stop taking orders after 10.. This girl would not give me her name and made it clear to me that she was close with her boss and assured me that her boss would have her back...and she was right. Her boss was just as argumentative and unprofessional as she was. I would have reprimanded one of my employees if they had treated ANY guest in that manner. Training in customer service should be provided for this staff. They don't care if they get your business and they told me it was fine that I never return. Just some advice for the owner....there is a YouTube video called "Give Them The Pickle".…your staff may benefit from watching it,..or they may not...but you will never benefit with a staff like that. They will let your money walk away to never return.
