Above & beyond the call of duty

Short version: Dr. Ginther "spent more time, observed me more closely, and certainly exhibited much more caring & sensitivity for my condition..." I give him my highest recommendation...5 stars isn't enough. Long version with details:

I made my appointment with Dr. Ginther after my latest neurologist refused to order a spinal MRI after an MRI of my brain revealed multiple lesions supporting the possibility of MS. The neurologist was not interested that a blood sibling has diagnosed spinal lesions, and he dismissed my carefully documented medical history spanning 23 years - - first diagnosed as Complex Partial Epilepsy in 1986, over time showing a progressive relapsing/remitting pattern of declining neurological function, and increasing pain from severe spasticity affecting my back, legs, torso, elimination & sexual functioning. The pain was not alleviated by analgesics, and the spasticity w/tremors did not respond to increased anti-convulsant doses. When my spinal tap did not show the presence of oligoclonal bands or elevated proteins, the possibility of MS was summarily dismissed with no alternative testing offered to determine the cause of the brain lesions, spasticity, loss of personal body functions, or the pain I was experiencing.

To eliminate or determine the possibility of vertebrate displacement/deterioration being responsible for some or all of the physical deterioration I was experiencing, I spoke with Dr. Ginther and made an appointment with him. He spent more time, observed me more closely, and certainly exhibited much more caring & sensitivity for my condition than the neurologist had. He took extensive X-rays, and acted as my "spotter" (because I fall over easily) during the range of motion tests. The X-rays incontrovertibly showed no misalignment of the vertebra, and my range of motion was excellent despite my tendency to fall over. He wrote up a thorough report I could take to the doctor who referred me to the neurologist in hopes it would encourage further investigation and testing to determine the cause of my pain/spasticity. He documented facial tics and tremors I did not even know I was experiencing . . . and I was reminded that in the brief 15 minutes I spent with the neurologist spanning 2 appointments, that doctor had not observed me as closely, and seldom even made eye contact. Dr.Ginther determined that chiropractic therapy was not the answer in my particular case, but his documented observations are invaluable to me, and I owe him many thanks. I give him my highest recommendation...5 stars isn't enough.

I feel better!

I started seeing Dr. Ginther because I was having difficulty sitting at my desk for long periods of time. I had never been to a chiropractor before and was very nervous about the process. He made me (and my kids, who came along) very comfortable about the whole process. I go less frequently now because I have better flexability in my neck and no discomfort from sitting for 8 hours at work. Highly recommended!
