Fire Ridge Elementary School has an annual enrollment of more than 250 students in prekindergarten through grade six. It has a parent-teacher organization that works with students, families, schools and businesses to expand educational opportunities for the students. Fire Ridge Elementary School has a staff of approximately 60 full-time certified teachers and paraprofessionals that includes a psychologist, speech pathologist, guidance counselor, physical education instructor, art and music professionals, special educators, reading coaches, custodians, and occupational and physical therapists. The school also provides transportation, food, health care and counseling services. Located in Elkhorn, Neb., Fire Ridge Elementary School is a part of Elkhorn Public Schools, which serves nearly 4,000 students in over five schools.
