Love them. Great people, great food. We always have a wonderful time. My husband an I have been going there since we were dating. He went even before that.

I am only rating this a ONE star because there is not an option for ZERO stars which is what it actually should be. Absolutely the worst service I have received in West Virginia. The place was completely empty, we sat ourselves. A "server" came over and I acknowledged her first "Hi, how are you today?" she looked me right in the eye and walked away without saying a word. When she returned to take our order, this is how she asked "Did you want to eat?" Honestly, I know Elkins is a small town, but there is no excuse for horrendous service like that. Too bad, the atmosphere is cool, but this young rude a** of an individual just kept our business away forever.

Beander's is known for its great service and drinks. The Owner Andy Kniffen and her Daughter Desire make you feel welcome from the time you first walkin and order to the time you leave. This could your very first time in Beander's but you are treated like you have been coming in there for years. The place is the Elkins hangout for all of the middle age crowd and everyone seems to know your name.
