Founded in 1993, Rockburn Elementary School is a learning center that offers a range of academic options to students in pre-kindergarten through grade five. The school has an enrollment of more than 730 students. Its curriculum includes music, physical education, art, math and reading. Rockburn Elementary School maintains a parent-teacher association that serves as a resource for students, parents and staff members. It provides special education programs for students with learning disabilities. The school also administers Title I and English for Speakers of Other Languages programs. Rockburn Elementary School conducts science fairs, spring carnivals and bingo nights. It is a part of the Howard County Public School System.
