Provided by YP.comON 1/4/12 ME AND MY FRIEND WALKED INTO PETES SHOP( FOR THE FIRST TIME) LOOKING FOR A PART FOR A GO KART THAT WE ARE TRYING TO REBUILD. BEING THAT THIS WAS THE SIXTH PLACE WE STOP AT I WAS PRETTY DISCOURAGED ABOUT THE WHOLE THING AND WE DECIEDED TO STOP EVEN THO THIS SHOP DOESNT DEAL WITH GO KARTS. TO MY SURPRISE PETE TOOK THE TIME ABOUT 30 MINUTES TO TALK TO ME ABOUT WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR AND HELP ME OUT. I WALKED OUT OF HIS SHOP AND IT DIDNT COST ME A DIME. AS A SIDE NOTE I WAS LOOKING FOR SOME TIRES ONLINE BUT AFTER TODAYS VISIT I WILL BE GETTING THEM FROM PETE BECAUSE ITS MORE IMPORTANT TO ME TO GET GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE EVEN IF IT COST A COUPLE OF DOLLARS MORE AT THE END OF THE DEAL. PETE WILL DEFINITELY SEE ME AGAIN. AND MAYBE HE WILL EVEN LEARN MY FIRST NAME JOE FROM ELKTON

Provided by YP.comfor every unsatisfied customer there a hundreds of satisfied ones! If these unsatisfied customers were expert mechanics and had any idea what was going on with there bikes then they would be able to fix them there self. Some times it is extremely difficult to diagnose a problem with you ride, especialy when the customer tinkers with it themself and lies about it. I know this because i have been working on bikes for 17 years and have personal experiance with these types of customers. cherry hills mechanic is first rate and is the only person that touches my bikes when i am having trouble that is beyond my abilities. As far as his prices, every thing he sells is priced at manufactures suggested retail price and im sure he will be happy to show you that if you ask! Other shops mark everyday items up slightly, such as oil, spark plugs, and things of that nature so they can mark larger items down like tires. No one can stay in buisness for 27+ years without happy customers. im sure the people that have written bad reviews are idiots and are upset because they didnt get something for nothing

Provided by YP.comOn 4/21/2010 I took my son's ATV over for electrical repairs. I asked to call me with the price prior to repairing. I didn't hear from the shop for weeks. In June I had to call and the owner reported the repairs were done and the cost was $475.00. I was upset because I didn't want to put that much into a quad my son would soon outgrow, but his 5th birthday was coming up and I wanted him to have it. On June 14, I picked the bike up, purchased helmet, gloves and goggles, making my total spent $665.05. The next day I went riding with my son to find that the bike was doing the same thing, and the original spark plug was in the bike, AFTER I was charged for a new one!. I took the bike back and was assured he would "make it right". It is now November, after numerous calls to the shop I was consistently told he was waiting on a part. I wanted the bike back, as well as my money for the "repairs" that were never done. I was offered $150.00 back. This was not acceptable. I took the bike and left. I plan to take all courses of action to rectify this situation and to warn all other consumers. !
