I had a change of address for the same development I might add. When I got to the post office last week on Saturday, I was told I needed a lease and drivers license. Since I did no have my lease with me at the time, I proceeded to come back on a day off since my work hours did not allow me to be there during the week by 5pm. I was told they would hold my mail until I returned which would have been this passed Saturday. I arrived Saturday 12/9 to pick up my mail that was being held an they didn't have it, I was told the person that was delivering the mail in my development had the mail. when I get to my apartment I circle around to see if I see the mailman and I did, I advised what transpired and he said he would knock on my door with my mail once he completed his route. I never saw him nor did he knock on my door to give me my mail. Today Monday 12/11 I go to my mailbox try the key that I purchased and a key was left in the box, no mail. I called the post office to ask where my mail is, and I guess the representative who was assisting me didn't like all my questions and asked that I don't be snippy with her, as I am explaining to her why would you say I'm being snippy all I am looking for is my mail she hung up on me and when I called back the phone just rang and rang. That was very unprofessional, and I can't believe for no reason at all would she hang up. When I called back finally getting an answer after 6 calls later, I was told by Dan that my mail will be dropped off today by end of business day. its 2:47 pm lets see how long this takes, I am curious since I was told the same on Saturday in which did not happen. Totally disappointed with the services in which I paid for, $40.00 for mail box keys that get thrown away and three keys given for one mailbox just doesn't make sense at all. its a complete riot!

I went to the post office this morning and found the front door locked to the lobby. I normally pick up mail everyday to include Sundays. Total the door was still locked. I spoke with an employee who stated the front door is never unlocked on Sundays. This is bull I always pick mail up from our postal box. If this is the practice then you need to put a sign on the door.

First let's start with the fact that drivers mark packages as "Delivered"at the beginning of their day, not when the package is actually delivered. I know because every month I get the same 2 packages sent to my work, and the tracking is always marked "Delivered" at 9:30 AM, even though my work doesn't even get mail until 1:30 or 2 in the afternoon. Also, packages are marked as "Delivered" on Sat. morning, when in reality they are not delivered until Mon. PM. Again, I am telling you this from experience.
Now let's talk about yesterday. I knew that a certain BRIGHT PINK METALLIC PADDED ENVELOPE was tracked to arrive that day. As usual, the package was falsely marked "Delivered" at 9:30. When we did in fact get mail after 1:30, no pink envelope. I asked our secretary, and she said no, it did not come. Now mind you, this is a BRIGHT PINK METALLIC PADDED ENVELOPE and you can't exactly miss it in the mailbox!
I called the post office, and politely asked about the package. The woman took my name, address, phone, and said she would get back to me. A while later she called back, to ask for the tracking number. Duh, shouldn't she have done that already??? Later she called back again, and said she was waiting for a callback from the driver, because he thinks he might have delivered it to the school next door. Awhile later she called me back again, saying "My driver went out of his way to check on this, and your package has been in your mailbox all day!" What a liar! I said, "Are you serious?" even though I knew it was a lie, and the woman SQUEAKED AT ME!! Literally! She squeaked, "Yes, I'm serious" at me!!! I went out to the mailbox and Low and Behold! My package and some other envelopes had magically appeared!
Then I find out from our other secretary that the driver has been giving our mail to the school next door, and the same woman at the post office had been extremely rude to her as well.

I don't know how this post office has not been closed down by the government.

First off, it took me two months to get my apartment mailbox keys. I would call literally everyday and talked to 8+ employees and every time they would say they were out of mailbox keys. I was told by a few different employees that I didn't have to pay the $30 fee until my keys came in. But I knew something was fishy when sometimes I would call and they would say they just ran out of the keys that came in. I was wondering how they prioritize who gets keys considering I had been waiting over two months. I even filed a formal complaint with the federal office and they agreed that the entire thing was insane (including the $30 fee).

Finally, after two months, I called and they said they had keys in. When I went in to get them, I got to talk to an employee that actually knew what they were talking about and it turns out that I could have had my keys all along, but they only gave them to the people who paid the $30 first. HOW DID 8+ EMPLOYEES NOT KNOW THIS!?!?!

Okay, so you would think the ordeal would be over right? I have my keys after two months and now I should have access to my mail.............. WRONG. Two weeks have gone by and my mailbox key doesn't even work! So i called and they said that a lot of people are experiencing that issue because they lost track of which locks have been replaced. So now I have to conveniently make the hour long journey for a 100th time to exchange my keys for new ones (which means another 2 week wait for the locks to change). And just keep in mind, this is the shortened version of everything that happened. There was plenty of lost & delayed mail in the mix, as well as an employee that said they would put my mail on hold but didn't. When I asked how its possible for a months worth of mail to fit inside my dinky mailbox, the PO worker told me that they will just throw out some of the old stuff to make room for the new stuff. HOLY F.

I just figured I would vent on here so other people can relate if they are having similar problems. This post office seriously needs to be investigated because all of their employees are literally the stupidest group of people I've ever met.

UPDATE:: Went to exchange my mailbox keys for ones that would work. An employee told me I could keep my keys and the driver would change my lock today. However, the employee on the phone had told me they already replaced my lock but must have accidentally done it twice so its the wrong one. The lady at the office is deaf so it wasn't worth arguing. So now i'm going to wait around and see what happens.
