I recently rented a small chalet from Massanutten Vacations LLC for $1200/mo. The unit was advertised as having central air conditioning,a very important feature during these hot summer months. Upon moving in I found that the unit did not cool at all. Management claimed they would fix the problem immediately, that was over 1 month ago. Temperatures in the house have reached 90 degrees and no effort has been made to correct the problem.

More frustrating than the intolerable temperatures was managent's attitude / poor customer service. It took over a week to even get a return phone call, and as of this writing the problem has not been corrected. Management is quite willing to place blame on anyone but themselves ( such as the owner of the unit and myself), but will not simply correct THEIR mistake - falsely advertising a unit as having central air when they knew the unit did not work at all. Katrina in the office is rude and very unprofessional - almost never available during posted office hours.

This has been a miserable experience. Avoid Massanutten Vacations LLC at all costs.
