I couldn't believe the lo mein... It was literally spaghetti noodles. The vegetables were undercooked, the taste was similar to cardboard. It was the only Chinese place within 20 miles of where I recently moved, and I would rather starve than eat here again.

I live in this area and have eaten at Peking China in the past. Unfortunately it is the only Chinese restaurant in the area. While it has never been great, it has been OK for an occassional meal. My daughter and I went for dinner several days ago. We were the only ones in the restaurant. As I began to eat my lo mein noodles from the buffet, I could smell a very strong ammonia odor. It was horrible and turned my stomach. I caught my daughter before she ate hers and then proceeded to tell our waiter. He took our plates and went back to standing at the the counter. Never said a word to us. I waited for a while and noticed that he went over and stirred the noodles, then went back to standing at the counter. They never checked them or took them off of the bar! Never a word of concern, no discount, nothing. I walked over to the bar and I could smell the noodles before I even got close to them! I will never be back to this restaurant and can now understand why we were the only ones there!
