Solace Studios Fine Handcrafts is the working studios of marbling fiber artist Barb Polin as well as the gallery/gift shop for over 250 American Craftsmen. The setting is a completely restored circa 1920's building formerly housing the Kite Drug Co. The shop is nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains between Skyline Drive/Shenandoah National Park and Massanutten Resort. Located conveniently to the Shenandoah River in the town of Elkton, Virginia, Solace Studios Fine Handcrafts has been selected one of the Best Gift Shops in the Shenandoah Valley by Virginia Living magazine four years in a row.You will find home décor, garden art, jewelry, blown and stained glass, sculpted wood, marbled silk clothing, marbled leather accessories, lighting, photography by local, regional and national craftsmen.
