I reserved the kitchenette 2 Queen Unit, and was so pleased, I extended my stay another week. Jeff and his wife are very welcoming, helpful, and very accommodating. The room is LARGE, has a back door, screen door that allows in sunlight and air, also has a deck, and covered front porch that I spent many nights and days sitting on. Since the motel is on Rt 11, there is a lot of tractor trailer and car traffic, but you get used to it, and once inside it is not a problem for sleeping, even with the front windows open. NOTE: the decks and front porch and screen door are in process of being replaced, but still can sit on.

The bathroom is large as well with good lighting and large mirror. The kitchen is a full kitchen with glass top stove, oven, microwave and full size refrigerator. Plenty of cupboards and counter space with plates, silverware, utensils, pots and pans. The water pressure in the faucets in the kitchen is low but I was able to just use the faucet in the bathroom if I needed to fill the sink or coffee pot, etc. The shower in the bathroom both have good water pressure. The beds are very comfy, I prefer a softer bed, if your preference is a hard bed, then you may not agree. There is a chest of drawers (3), plus a work desk and desk chair plus a table and chairs. Good internet connection and charging stations/plugs. Large TV with ROKU and good reception.

Close by is a Dollar General with foodstuffs, milk, eggs, some meat, as well as a Mountain Mart and Dunkin Donuts, similar items. PLUS, a gas station with reasonable gas prices for a small town, currently $4.69/gal (highest price while I was visiting the area $4.83).

Plattsburgh and Malone, two largest cities close by is approx 20 miles, but road is good and ez commute.

Canada border is only about 8 miles, and has friendly customs agents (ARRIVECan app) I thought I had filled out correctly, but they helped me finish it up (make sure you have it downloaded to your phone)
