I moved to Florida and Woody's I my very favorite place to go to, great food, good service, fantastic music, and a very friendly people. This place is recommended, hope you all take the time to check it out.

Great food Excellent service Fantastic View its my favorite restaurant in Ellenton. I usually only get appetizers but the fried pickles and home made chips are GREAT

Last night's visit to River Roo's was a HUGE disappointment. It started with our burgers being well done instead of medium rare. My fiance's signature mushroom burger was covered in canned mushrooms; ewwwww! When we told the waitress, she agreed that they were over cooked, but then just walked away instead of offering atonement.

Then last night, my fiance was having to run to the bathroom all night from a touch of food poisoning!

I called the restaurant and talked with Robert, the manager. He was sympathetic to the quality of our meal, but was a little rude when it came to the food poisoning. All he could offer us was for us to come down to their restaurant again and pay them more money! Unacceptable!! When their is no offer to right the wrong, why would I want to patronize this place ever again!

Next time, I'll spend that money on groceries and make a much more appetizing meal at home!

woodys is a great place to eat. great food great service but their bussboy... always on top of those dishes. stays working hard!!!
