Howard High School, located in Ellicott City, Md., offers a variety of educational and co-curricular programs to students in grades nine through 12. Founded in 1952, the school is affiliated with the Howard County Public School System. It offers various programs, such as English, arts, science, social studies, mathematics and physical education. Howard High School also offers practice classes in reading and writing. It has a library, guidance and counseling departments, and a computer laboratory. It has a special education department that provides programs for students with learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, speech and language impairments, and physical disabilities.
