We took an older Rodeo SUV truck to Kars. It is a 1996 low mileage vehicle, (79,0000 miles, with a beautiful, like-new finish.) The vehicle would not start; the starter was clearly bad. So we paid to have it towed in. They kept the car for a week. The mechanic, Don, told us the whole thing, to get the car running well would be about $900.00. They replaced the starter and a few other things and we went to pick up the Rodeo. The mechanic, Don, came from the garage area to process our payment. He told us that the car was ready to go and running well. A couple days later the car would not start at all. We called them and they told us that we would have to pay for another towing, more diagnostics and whatever further repair costs there would be. We told them that we didn't think that we should have to pay any more costs since Don assured us that the car was ready and working well. Don the mechanic became extremely rude and sarcastic. So now we are out the $900.00 and the vehicle will not even start! I would go anywhere but to Kars in the future. My opinion: Do yourself a favor and stay away from this small mom and pop automotive repair place. They are answerable to no one. And, in this case they clearly don't care.

I took my car to kars auto for a simple alignment. I was told all four tires needed major adjustment and that they were going to have to order parts for my car. The estimate given was at least $200. My car sat for 2 days untouched. I said enough and picked my car up. I took my car to Hayes Auto where they fixed my car in one day and informed me the part that kars was ordering was unnecessary and didn't need anything done to it except a simple alignment for $75. I suggest you avoid Kars Auto they will rip you off! Suggest Hayes 100%
