THE WORST SERVICE POSSIBLE!!!!!!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! LET ME GIVE YOU MY STORY: We have a small used car dealership. In the first Q of 2012 we purchased a car that had transmission problems. So we took the car to Allen Transmission in Ellisville. It took 2 weeks before they called me with an estimate of the repair cost and the total was $2800.00. We paid the bill and they started working on the car ... We got a phone call from them after 2 weeks notifying us that the car is fixed and ready for pick up! So we went to pick up the car and it wouldn’t start. There was not even a noise coming from the car even when we tried to start the car with jumper cables. I called their shop the next day and I talked to the store manager Jim ...he explained to me that I need a new battery. So I purchased a new battery and they installed it...The next day we tried to pick up the car but there was another problem!!! Because they have disconnected the battery the car locked it and we couldn't unlock it!!!!!!!! Jim told us that we need to call a Locksmith or tow the vehicle on our own expense. We refused to do such a thing and now they are telling us that we need to pay storage fees for the time our car has been parked on their property or we will not get the car back from them!!!! In addition to that they will not honor the warranty they gave us originally because the 30 day warranty is expired and the car has yet to be driven. I am not even sure they fixed the transmission... There's much more to write but I don’t want you to get bored...Please STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. Save yourself money and aggravation and nothing but problems by NOT CALLING ALLEN TRANSMISSION!
