Bait and switch. Made an appointment, only to be told that I would need to wait 2.5 weeks for them to fix it. Since, I could not wait that long, I had to find another mechanic, they charged for 90/hour to just look at my car. I ended up paying for an estimate twice. She also showed no compassion that I couldn't drive my car and needed it fixed ASAP, just show me the money.

I wanted to add, that I also have had a bad experience with K&B. Their owner Jen,was uncaring and rude. I waited 2 weeks for an estimate and 2 more weeks to get it fixed. I looked them up with the state, and they have two Disciplinary Actions against them.

I am very disappointed with their service. I called and made an appointment to have my car fixed as it was making a faint noise. I was not concerned, and didn't mind waiting 2 WEEKS for my appointment. I called them that day and was told what was needed to be fixed and to come and pick up my car. They had me come and pick up my car to pay $90/hour for the estimate and then make, yet another appointment in 2 WEEKS to have it fixed. When I expressed my shock, that I wasn't told that I would be paying for an estimate upfront ( which they must legally to)or that my car ( which according to them, was unsafe to drive) wouldn't be done for another 2 weeks, I was showed the door and my appointment was canceled. They also commented that a lot of people never come back, and after one interaction with their manager, I can see why.

K+B replaced my transmission on my Denali on time, within the quoted price. They are honest and to profesional. Great job!!!...Bruce at Atlantic Taxi co.
