I have to disagree with JokerKardPromo, I think the food is great and has a fair price. However I also have to say (and I'm sorry I never noticed before) I've never seen any employees who aren't white or any customers who aren't white. I was wondering the other day about the road crew , they have been working on I 35 in that area for over a year but i've never seen any of them in Dee's. The only thing I can say is I almost always used the drive thru and I am in a hurry and just don't notice anyone around me. Even I know that if the road crew wont use a place with good food and low prices that is so convenient then something is wrong.

RACISTS RACISTS RACISTS........a friend of mine (who didn't know what he was talking about) told me they had pretty decent kolaches and that i should try them. I'll tell you now though that the kolache was made up mostly of bread and was terrible. Anyways the first thing i noticed when my friend and I walked inside is the signed David Allan Coe poster on the side of the counter. David Allan Coe has a number of racist country songs including "Ni**er Lover", "Ni**er f*cker" and "My Wife Ran Off With a Ni**er"....his song "Rated X" is a hit with racists as well.

Now i understand it's possible to listen to horribly racist musicians without actually being racist yourself so I engaged in conversation with the lady at the counter. throughout the entire conversation the lady didn't look at me once, I would ask her a question and she would look at my white friend while responding. It was the strangest thing, it felt like she was so uncomfortable with me that she couldn't even look at me....NOT EVEN WHILE SHE WAS TALKING TO ME hahaha.

So you may be thinking "this guy was probably dressed like a hoodlum and that poor 'ole lady was just uncomfortable. Allow me to stop you there and tell you I was wearing a jacket and pants and looked pretty normal while my buddy (white) had a mohawk and was dressed like an 80's punk rocker.

I thought to myself, maybe that day she was just feeling a little off so i went in yesterday again to get some donuts........I was with a white guy and a white girl. We walked in, I saw a different lady at the counter and so again I engaged in conversation by asking how she was doing that day. She responded politely but AGAIN....again this woman (separate from the first I spoke of) didn't look at me once, she stared at my friends and informed THEM of how she was doing. after everything i asked she looked at my buddies to respond, even when i told her to have a good day she looked at my white guy friend and told him "thank you"......I don't think a single person in that place ever laid eyes on me while i was looking......as i walked out a couple of their older customers gave me the stink eye which i though was especially informing.....

Last thing...their donuts are dry and their kolaches are terrible. I give 'em one single star because it won't allow me to give them negative stars
