Hawthorne Elementary School enrolls more than 600 students in kindergarten through grade five. It offers several educational and extracurricular programs for the academic, intellectual, mental, spiritual, physical and emotional development of students. The school s academic curriculum includes several subjects, such as reading, music, physical education, Spanish, art, math, social studies and science. It also offers English Language Learners and REACH programs. It runs the Character Counts program, which imparts values of trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, caring and citizenship to students.
