Death Threats/And Or Witness Intimidation Complaint

Dear DuPage County Sheriff:

On Monday December 19th at approximately 4pm in Room 3002 the Attorney for my ex wife, Michael Powers of Elmhurst Illinois threatened my safety and sought to intimidate me repeatedly after our hearing. Specifically, Mr. Powers informed me that he was "waiting till he turned 65 and stopped being a lawyer", because he was going to "light me up" from all different angles. Mr. Powers also taunted me while doing so repeatedly calling me "my man, my man" and that I had made his "shortlist". I have a witness sitting in close proximity to Mr. Powers when those threats were made and heard the same exchange. I was only a little concerned at first, but then thinking about what he said and how he said it, made me feel it very well may have been a death threat that could be carried out at any time, and if not, it was certainly a very brazen act of witness intimidation that crossed many legal lines. Mr. Powers and I are as far from friends as any two people can be but I should not have to be threatened and intimidated after hearings in which I testified against the people who issued the threats. For my own safety in case these threats are real, I have posted this communication to my facebook page for protection. Your investigation of this matter would be greatly appreciated.
