I went there for an oil change and the service advisor named Stephan took great care of my car he went outside to check all my tires and vehicle mileage showed me how dirty was my air filter and cabin filter and explained to me what are they purpose in the vehicle I'd definitely will come back

I absolutely love this Pep Boys location. Superb customer service. Friendly staff and they always have what I need.

Glen who seems to me a mechanic there, was very rude before even looking at my car. I went in for a state inspection, however I was told to go to the dealer to do it. I'm not sure what reputation Elmont Pepboys hold but if an employee is turning customers away, that's definitely not good for business. Glen should learn to just do his job and save the talking for when he's off the clock. Please educate him on the proper etiquette of customer service. Trust me it will do your business a favor.

I don't write review until it's too much. Last week I went for a car inspection at PepBoys in Elmont, NY and failed the result and then the front desk guy named Nirwan told me that the result was failed due to not enough mileage after battery death, so I need to drive more than 50 miles. He also said to me that next time if I come for the inspection again, they will charge me only $10 but If I could come there same day after 50 miles drive, they will not charge anything. I said if that's happened, there should be free of cost in next time since last year I didn't need to pay in same condition in one of the Auto Shop in queens, NY. But he said I need to pay $10 there for the inspection again for the failed result. Then I though it might be different rule in different auto shop and agreed with $10 next time pay and paid full inspection amount of $37 that time.



But today when I went to PepBoys for the inspection again, Nirwan told me that I need to pay $27. I argued that last time he said only $10. But he said he never told $10. Again I said he even told if same day inspection for the failed result will be the free of cost if there is enough mileage drove (he said more than 50miles). Again he said he never told. I said he was lying but he said no. I argued what I could but he never agree with $10 then came back without inspection. I even said that for the (27-10)=$15, Pep Boys will lose one customer who is spending in auto service to Pep Boys at least two times a year. But never listened by Nirwan. And I just did my inspection in another AutoShop. Now I just want to say Bye Bye PepBoys
