Western Middle School serves students in grades six through eight. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as math, science, social studies and language arts. The school offers lunch services to students. It organizes a range of sports activities, such as football, volleyball, basketball, soccer and cheerleading. The school supports a variety of before- and after-school care and child nutrition programs. It also conducts sessions in career and technical education. In addition, the school provides campus-based and outreach workshops and information sessions to parents on the academic and developmental needs of students. Western Middle School is a part of the Alamance-Burlington School System.
