I never bother to write these, but having seen the negative review below, I felt that I needed to . Since they have opened, I have gone there to buy cigarettes, gifts and cash checks. Not only have I never had a problem, but as a family owned business, they take an interest in their customers and families. When my youngest was in an accident, they became her biggest supporters in town. When my son turned eighteen, he began cashing checks there also. They charge less than anywhere else and they are very friendly.

My wife and I have shopped In this store since they opened. They have always been very friendly and gone out of their way to order in products we wanted that they did not carry. I have not only never been shorted, but they tend to round the change down. With the impeccable service I have received over the last several years I believe that the reveiw below was just an anomoly, and not the norm. below

Do not cash your checks here and do not put any thing on account with them. My Mother-in-law is 76 and was cashing her SSI checks there because they told her they were doing it for free. Not only were they charging her to cash her checks, they were shorting her money. If she ran short during the month, she would put cigarettes on account with them. When she went to cash her check and pay her balance, my Husband caught them charging her and shorting her, he confronted them. The apologized and refunded her the difference due and she has not been back since. They called her today to tell her that she never paid them and that if she did not come over immediately, they would call the police. When my Husband called to remind them he was with her and that she paid her balance in full the day they tried ripping her off, they said it was an employee error and that they would not be calling the police. We are reporting them to the police and better business bureau. There is no telling how many elderly people they are taking advantage of or threatening. Please beware of this business.
