Provided by YP.comI went to this practice during a very troublesome time in my life. My counselor at that time (who has since left the practice), was patient, compassionate and knowledgeable. I would not have made it through this time without her guidance. I had a similar experience many years ago when they were in the old office. This practice is run by people who employ only the best, in my opinion. I would not hesitate to refer a friend or a family member her for services. Additionally, their office staff is among the friendliest I've experienced at a health care provider. Diana runs a fine practice that is an asset to our community.

Provided by YP.comI was going to make an appointment for my daughter who's coping with the death of her dad from cancer until I saw the guy I was referred to, one of the male counselors and was horrified to see that he was a guy who worked at Lorain Community Hospital in the early 80's when I went there as a teenager for an eating disorder. He used to make such nasty, catty comments to the kids. One time when we were required to sit at the table for dinner even though we weren't eating, two of us had our heads down and he sneered "What's this? Are you having a religious experience? And to another kid who was playing a music cassette he didn't like he sneered "I guess there's no accounting for taste!" He was like a catty school bully to kids who were in a lot of pain. I'd be afraid to open up and share my feelings with someone like that and I'd never risk subjecting my little girl to that kind of callus treatment.
So, caveat emptor everyone. Just because someone is smart enough to go to college doesn't mean they have compassion or are good at what they do.

Provided by YP.comI go in for an evaluation and the lady said I don't need treatment. OK, cool. NOT! They sent my attorney the paperwork and said I refused treatment. So after playing phone tag and explaining my situation to three different people I finally get on the roster for "treatment". I show up for the first meeting and I am not even on the list of attendees. I tell the receptionist she is wrong and that I called in the appointment blah blah blah so I storm off. Said receptionist calls me back and says I can join the group. Now 8 weeks later all I need to complete my "treatment" is a one-on-one meeting with the group leader. I scheduled this meeting and I show up after changing my work schedule to get in and they don't have any record of my appointment. I've talked to others with the same experience. Disorganized and literally NO COMMUNICATION.
