I would like to point out before getting into this, I gave the food 5 stars. It seems like this place is new, so it is almost understandable that there is some chaos. The menu is complicated with no portion sizes other than "dinghy" & "boat" like someone was trying too hard to be cute and didn't remember that customers are not going to know what their logic was. Nowhere does it say that the food is spicy, but both the calamari and shrimp were spicy and that was when we asked for their special sauce on the side. That being said, I am very sensitive to spicy food so it might not be so noticeable to others. The staff was very friendly, but disorganised. Before our food arrived I was sceptical, the seating is a line of 4 double tables along the front wall with 4 seats each, so no big parties, their menu is in front of the door, not brought to you after you sit down, you order and pay before sitting down, then your food is brought to you. It all seems very "fast food" like until you get to the pricing, which seemed outrageous before we received our food ($2 sodas are ridiculous though) the food... almost all worth it. Calamari (sauce on the side) was delicious, shrimps were tender with a great crisp breading, the Cuban was perfect, the cheeseburger was not the best I ever had, but still pretty good. The homemade hush puppies were the best I've ever had and the sweet potato fries were really good.
