Recently purchased a 2007 GMC Envoy Denali from this dealership. Day after delivery TPMS came on and discovered a nail in the tire. Notified the dealership they told me it could have happened anywhere. OK. A week after that my Envoy starts having a metal on metal squeaking noise. A day later I notice the noise it starts shuddering during braking situations. Turns out both rear brake pads are gone and rotors are now warped. Both front pads almost gone as well. John North only shrugged and said it passed their "inspection. "

Service after the Sale

I have had several bad experiences with John North Ford over the years and continue to hear more bad stories from others. When I was looking to purchase my first car they seemed nice. I found the car I wanted and the salesman told me a general amount that I would have to pay a month for the car. When my father and I went in to fill the paper work the finance manager added on fees and other things so that the price came to $80 dollars or so over a month than what I told them I was able to afford. I told them I could not buy the car and that was the end. Next week I went to another car dealer and the salesman from John North Ford had quit and moved to the new company. He told me that they sold the car for $5,000 less to an older man than they were willing to sell to me. My brother went to purchase a used vehicle from them. He took the car to a personal friend who was a mechanic and the mechanic told him that the oil was not changed, it was not serviced at all, and there appeared to be repairs that might indicate it was in an accident. When we confronted John North Ford, they said that all the used vehicles are looked at and serviced. We then figured out that this one was not looked at or serviced, but sold to my brother with the assumption that there was nothing seriously wrong. When my brother asked to have it serviced, or some money refunded so that he could have the things done they refused and said basically too bad you should have said something before you bought it. Even though it should have been looked at before they sold him the car or let him know that they had not looked at it yet. When he asked for a Car Fax report they said yes, but then they kept saying they would give it to him later and it took him 2 weeks to get it. Over all I am very disappointed in how they have run their business. The management seems to not care about the customer, only about making as much money as they can. Are they not aware that repeat business is good and that word of mouth is harmful? Both of my families will never look or buy a car at John North Ford ever.
