Dr. Liu, board certified by the American Board of Dermatology, is a graduate of Princeton University and the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, where she received her Doctor of Medicine and Doctor of Philosophy in Molecular Biology and Immunology. After completing a one-year internship in internal medicine, Dr. Liu completed a three-year residency in dermatology at the UCLA School of Medicine. Dr. Liu is a Voluntary Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the University of California, San Diego. Dr. Liu is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, San Diego Dermatological Society, and the San Diego Society for Dermatologic Surgery, of which she is a past president and past secretary-treasurer. She is also a Fellow with the American Society for Mohs Surgery, and a member of the North American Clinical Dermatologic Society. Selected as a TOP DOCTOR in Dermatology in 2010, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 by peers. Currently seeing patients at our Oceanside & Encinitas offices.
