Dr. Fainman was born and raised in and near New York, NY and trained in OBGYN in the big city. She came to San Diego in 2011 and joined Women's Integrative Health in November 2013. She is a strong advocate for her patients and believes in open conversations and well-informed patient decisions. She is skilled in most aspects of the specialty of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and prides herself on offering her patients all options available for their particular situation. Dr. Fainman's particular interests in her field include identifying, screening, and managing patients with family histories of cancer (breast, ovarian, uterine, colon, etc), adolescent gynecology, prenatal care and delivery, abnormal uterine bleeding, fibroids, and more.
