Evans tire in Encinitas has been our family’s “go to” establishment for well over five years. I have to say that Roger has been consistently outstanding in his attentiveness to our needs on every situation.
This high quality of customer service, through his leadership, transfers to just about everyone on his team. We have five cars of various ages, makes and models (one a classic), so most anyone could imagine the huge opportunity for up-sell here. Also, having grown up in the auto repair industry, I can be a rather high maintenance customer at times, coming in with many questions, and a desire to discuss a variety of solutions in detail.
What strikes me most is the high degree of respect shown by Roger and his team at all times. They strike that delicate balance between letting us know of the critical work that must be done, and helping us prioritize these “must do” items with great consideration to our budget and availability (that’s a big one for me!)
Overall, this team provides an authentic community-type feel in service, and they are excellent with communication and follow through. They’ll let you know quickly if something is not in their wheelhouse (which does not happen often), and I would highly recommend Roger and his team to anyone.
I am not one to make recommendations lightly or frequently, however the service provided to me and my family by Roger, Eddie, Tony, and many others on this team, is just outstanding, worthy of high praise. Keep up the great work and thank you!

Evans tire in Encinitas has been my “go to” establishment for well over five years. I’ve visited intermittently for much longer. I have to save that Roger has been consistently outstanding in his service and attentiveness to our needs in every situation. His leadership transfers that high standard of quality and customer service to just about everyone on his team. My family has five cars of varying ages, makes and models (one is a classic), so it would be easy to imagine a great deal of opportunity for a shop to up-sell.
Having grown up in the auto repair industry, I can be a high-maintenance customer at times, with lots of questions. I must say that what strikes me the most is the respect shown by Roger and his team, striking that delicate balance between letting us know what we really need, and helping us prioritize the “must do” items according to our budget and schedule. They provide a community type feel in service, and are excellent with communication and follow-through. Also, and perhaps just as important, if not more so, they will let you know quickly what is and is not in their wheelhouse (and they have broad-based capabilities and expertise), and I would highly recommend Roger and his team to anyone.
I don’t make recommendations frequently or lightly, however this team’s competency and service-oriented focus certainly merits high praise. You all are terrific! Keep up the good work and thank you!
